Set in Sonenalp, a boutique building with only four residences, this first-floor home feels more like a private mountain retreat than a typical condo. The layout is spacious and practical for real vacations: gathering space where everyone can hang out, and bedrooms that let people actually sleep.
Inside you’ll find:
• A warm, open living area with a gas fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating
• A gourmet kitchen with granite counters and generous prep space (easy for family breakfasts or après snacks)
• Three bedrooms that work especially well for mixed groups: one king, one queen, and a queen/twin bunkroom
• Multiple bathrooms for smoother mornings and post-ski resets
• In-unit laundry, integrated humidifier heat, and fast Wi-Fi
Outside, the lifestyle is pure Mammoth:
A hot tub + sauna just steps away (shared with one neighboring Sonenalp condo)
On-site ski & gear storage so you’re not dragging equipment through the living room
Two reserved underground garage spaces (high-clearance), plus easy access to Canyon Lodge, the gondola, and town transit
Traveling with a bigger crew? Noble Nest adjoins Mammoth Moose (Sonenalp 1). Book both as the first-floor combo for a true “together-but-separate” setup—great for extended family trips and friend groups.
Please note:
• Mammoth Lakes homes do not have air conditioning due to the naturally cool alpine climate.
• 4WD vehicles and/or chains may be required during winter storms.
• Guests must sign a personalized rental agreement within 24 hours of booking.
• A 3% credit card processing fee applies to guest-initiated refunded cancellations.
• 2 grills are shared by the 4 Sonenalp condos
• Spa maintenance occurs routinely
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 72 hours away at time of booking.
* Check-in is 4 pm. Check out is 10 am. * Please be respectful of the quiet, upscale vibe in our HOA community. Limit noise after 9 pm and before 8 am. * 6 persons max in the hot tub at a time. * No unsupervised children in the hot tub or sauna at any time. * No smoking or vaping in or around the condo or on the balconies. * For safety and the need to snowplow, please do not park in the driveway. The Town of Mammoth does not allow overnight parking in our neighborhood. 2 cars only in the garage, please. * Pets allowed only with prior approval of management. A fee of $200, required by our HOA, will apply. Please pick up after your pet. * Due to Town of Mammoth occupancy rules, no unregistered guests permitted. * For safety and security of guests, Sonenalp common areas (garage, balconies, foyers, stairwell, exterior) are monitored by real-time, cloud-hosted video surveillance. ------------------------- * Violation of any house rule, violation of law, or nuisance to community (including guests in excess of reserved number) may result in immediate termination of your reservation. Guests will be required to depart the premises immediately and no refund will be issued. * Violation of smoking restrictions, leaving of pet waste or other excessive cleaning or maintenance issue will result in a $500 fee. * You are responsible for the behavior of guests in your party. Costs for damage, need for excessive cleaning/repair, or theft from our home or HOA building/grounds will be deducted from your security deposit; costs in excess of the security deposit will result in additional charges.
